Our driers

Agro products drying process has two main objectives, commercialization or storage.

One of the biggest advantages is that our FIR driers do not depend on ambient air temperature to work, so they can achieve a better performance regardless ambiental conditions.

Our product design is focussed on what will be the subsequent use of the product, and the optimum temperature need to achieve that.

  • Drying barrel horizontal axe design

    New type of drier that works with a far infrared emitter which is located inside the drier chamber. We put the product to dry inside the rotative barrel. The product to dry should be granulated for an optimized results. Perfect for aliments with a narrow shell ( grain, soy or quinoa).

    Vertical Axe Drying adaptation design

    Traditional Drying methods are:

    • Sun Terraces method: High energetic consumption and takes to much time to be dried. High dependency on the climatology. Problems with rodents, insects and birds. Staff costs due to a continues control of the product in order to do not get ferment in lower levels .
    • Hot air method: High costs of instalation and energetic consumption.This method can add semlls depends on the type of fuel.

    Our new Infrared drier system presents the following advantages :

    Drier for aromatic plants

    This drier is composed by a number of drawers, located one above the other, where each drawer receive the far infrared from the emitter located in the upper side.

    The drawers are designed to avoid the air flow.

    Each drawer can be dried independently of the rest.

    Multiproduct/Multilevel Silo Design

    Designed for large volumes with easy load/unload and low consumption in mind. Formed by various vertical axe drying designs stacked up. This structure allow multiple products and loads on each stack. It is easily accesible through dedicated entrances at each level.

    Handling of products is fast and efficient. Each independent unit has its own access door for loading and unloading.

    Energy use is lower for a classical silo of the same characteristics. This is due to the independent spaces that can dry different products or the same one at different temperatures.

Plants in the greenhouse benefit from smooth Far Infrared (FIR) energy which increases the speed of photosynthetic and biochemical reactions catalyzed by enzymes. Result is a more consistent, faster growth ratio.

There is no need to warm up the entire building as FIR plates are directed to the plants. Boilers, tubes, and regulators of conventional heating systems are unnecessary. Heat distribution is more homogeneous and there is no progressive lose of heat during transport.

The air exposed to FIR energy will be cleaned of suspended particles and microorganisms, thanks to the combined biocide effect of ionization and natural or artificial light in the green house.

At IRConfort we produce plates that work under 24 volts or with continuous current and are specially built to work in conjunction with solar panels or air energy.
